This is response to request 20-2628---I was not able to respond because the request was closed and my email would not go through. If no maps exist of boundary changes of police districts or reporting areas over the past 20 years, would it be possible to instead provide any documentation describing these changes (ideally a report or memo outlining the redrawing). Thank you!

We reviewed your request for information pursuant to the California Public Records Act (CPRA) which is in response to a previous request 20-2628 that was re-opened on 05/07/2020 because possible responsive shapefiles/maps have been located by our department’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Unit regarding boundary changes of police districts or reporting areas over the past 20 years.


Since this request is for the same previously submitted request 20-2628 (which was re-opened on 05/07/2020), we will respond to that previous request and close this request as a duplicate request. 


In the future, please do not re-submit the same request.  Rather, use the external message feature to inquire about status or otherwise communicate with us.
